Apex Park, Highbridge

Apex Park is not simply a park, it is a leisure and wildlife park, a great place to visit for a walk, play or a trip to feed the ducks.

Situated in Highbridge near Burnham on Sea, it is easy to get to with free parking on site.

Apex park is a great place to visit for all the family.

There are accessible easy walks around the park and lakes which are suitable for toddling, buggies and wheelchairs.

The large lake is home to a variety of birds, ducks, mallards and Canada Geese to name a few. Permit holders may fish in the lake or sail remoted controlled boats.

To keep the children entertained there is a large play area, incorporating play equipment for toddlers and junior aged children.

There is also a skate-park and an outdoor gym with various pieces of equipment.

You will find a picnic area with benches next to the car park with all important toilets too.

You will often find a catering van in the main car park between 1st April and 31st October, you may also find an ice cream van depending on the season of your visit. This is usually parked between the car park and lake slipway.

Burnham on Sea Parkrun is held at Apex Park every Saturday morning from 9am.
