Sand Bay beach is a fantastic large and wide beach with beautiful views across the Bristol Channel and South Wales.

You may not always be able to get near the sea due to the massive tidal range, but the sand, sand dunes and size of the beach offer an excellent opportunity for play and adventure.

There is plenty of parking in a number of car parks at each end and along Beach Road.

Due to the size of the beach, it is a perfect place for dog walkers and dogs are permitted on the beach all year round.

There are some great local places along to grab a hot drink, ice cream or a bite to eat from.

Whilst visiting Sand Bay beach, you could also visit Middle Hope Beach and Sand Point which is located on the furthest peninsula.
