There will be food available from a variety of different stalls alongwith all the village pubs. Find out more HERE.

The Arts Quarter in Cheddar are encouraging local residents, not only in Cheddar but in Axbridge, Shipham, Draycott and Rodney Stoke to make their village festive and take part in their Window Wanderland, they are hoping to create magical walking trails throughout the villages that can be explored and enjoyed by the whole community. A visit to Father Christmas

There are a number of different options for visiting the big man himself this year in and around Cheddar.

Ocean Adventurers are running Christmas workshops where your little ones can create Christmas decorations, decorate festive gingerbread treats and make reindeer food. Father Christmas will make an appearance and invite the children to visit him in his grotto. A visit to meet Santa includes access to the fabulous soft play areas.

Find out more HERE.

Wookey Hole’s winter wonderland will be open from Saturday 20th November for your chance to visit Santa in his grotto! Find out more HERE.

Or if you fancy a virtual visit with Father Christmas you can have your own Zoom call from the comfort of your own home all while raising money for Children’s Hospice SW. Find out more HERE.

Festive Food

If you are looking for somewhere for a festive lunch with friends, a celebratory Christmas evening meal or even Christmas Dinner on the big day, look no further.

Why not visit the Lion Rock Tea Rooms for a winter warmer, the gingerbread latte paired with festive scones looks like a winner to me!

If you are looking for somewhere to eat out for a top quality lunch or evening meal then you must try The Gardeners Arms in Cheddar,, the atmosphere, food and drinks are highly recommended.

Their Christmas menu has not been released yet but you can keep an eye on their Facebook page HERE.

The Bath Arms are now taking bookings for Christmas Dinner and their menu look delicious! Check it out on their website HERE.
