Walk to explore Priddy caves above ground. Led by Peter Glanville, consultant geologist.

Peter Glanville will be describing the caves along with tales of their exploration. If you wish to know where the water in Wookey Hole comes from this is your opportunity.

The walk will take you on footpaths across meadows, on rough tracks and through a section of tussocky ground. There are stiles to negotiate and a total ascent of just under 300 feet.

Distance: 3.5 miles

Not suitable for individuals in mobility devices.

There is limited parking at Priddy Village Hall and on Priddy Green.

Refreshments can be purchased at Priddy Farm Shop (open 9am-4pm) and Queen Victoria Inn.

Booking is essential, this is a free event but a suggested donation to Mendip Rocks! of £3pp would be appreciated.
