Birth Essentials North Somerset
5 hours of ‘birthy’ info to get you/you and your birth team feeling empowered and confident for birth. This is a face to face course venue tbc in North Somerset. Learn about; the physiology of labour and birth. breathing techniques, self-hypnosis, informed choices…. and have some cake!
Sam truly believes that giving birth is the most wonderful and empowering event in a woman’s life, and there is no reason why we can’t genuinely enjoy this experience.
When she fell pregnant with her first child she was unsure of her options and assumed she would just have a hospital birth with drugs for pain relief. It wasn’t until a friend of hers handed her a book about hypnobirthing that it changed her outlook and gave her the confidence to give birth naturally using techniques such as regular pregnancy yoga and practising mindfulness.
She has had two brilliant and empowering home births utilising the tools and techniques from Hypnobirthing, and now she wants to share this and inspire other women that they too can have the most beautiful experience. The tools and techniques she has learnt continue to enhance her and her family’s wellbeing throughout parenthood and beyond.

Sam runs several different classes around North Somerset to help you through your journey:
