Make the Sunshine is a community interest company based in Shepton Mallet. Prior to lockdown they ran innovative theatre projects, creative workshops and performances in local spaces, working with South West artists and local communities.

For the last 4 years Make the Sunshine have run a much-celebrated programme of work called Plays in the Playground at Bowlish Infant School, St Pauls CofE (VC) and Shepton Mallet Infants. This event was so successful it has not been extended to a number of other schools around Shepton Mallet.

As we call know Coronavirus has changed how we live, how we learn, how we spend our time and who we meet – for now anyway.

It’s a difficult time for families, but one that also hopefully has many positives, we have time to spend together and reflect on the important things in life.
