I truly believe that giving birth is the most wonderful and empowering event in a woman’s life, and there is no reason why we can’t genuinely enjoy this experience. When I fell pregnant with my first child, I was unsure of my options for birth, and so assumed I would just have a hospital birth with drugs for pain relief. It wasn’t until a friend of mine handed me a book about hypnobirthing that my confidence for giving birth grew.

I felt an affinity with the mantra that birth was natural and organic; and so, using this message, regular pregnancy yoga and practising mindfulness - I opted for a home birth.

I have had two brilliant and empowering home births utilising the tools and techniques from Hypnobirthing, and now I want to share this and inspire other women that they too can have the most beautiful experience. The tools and techniques I learned continue to enhance mine and my family’s wellbeing throughout parenthood and beyond.
