This year Wells Cathedral will offer two experiences so you can all enjoy this years Carols by Candlelight.

First a public performance of the concert will be offered on Thursday 10th December 2020 as an fundraiser for the Cathedral’s Bounce Back Appeal. Ticket prices will be higher than in previous years as they are trying to raise £8,000 to replace a small portion of the income lost through the second lockdown.

Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis via Eventbrite and the ‘rule of six’ will apply.

Bookings will open from Monday 30 November 2020 at 9.30am.

 Tickets will be refundable if Covid-19 restrictions make an audience impossible.

The recording of the Candlelight Concert will be made available on the Cathedral’s website before Christmas, with a minimum donation of £5 to watch the Concert in the comfort of your own home. A trailer will be released so you can see what is offered before you donate.

 This way they  hope to make the Concert available to as many of you as possible.
